i have a johnson A style. i do plan on upgrading sometime soon, possibly upgrading to a F style.

my question is. does an A style fit into most F style cases. they look almost identical except for the scrolls. or am i not even close here.

thanks

I would say yes, in most cases (no pun intended). Not true the other way around.

You can find some pretty good deals on mid grade cases on e-bay.

There are some decent tweed mandolin cases on eBay for about $60. I bought one that is guitar shaped. Left or right handed A or F models will fit in it.

I have a Canadian F style case that Elderly sells. One day for fun I put my Rogue A in there and it was a tight fit. The neck didn't want to sit right in the case and I had to force it.
