Anybody pick this one? A challenging piece, certainly.

I've played it for years, and for those who do this one, do you play the last two measures starting on the Bb with the 2nd finger? That's the way I do it, as it seems to lay out well with minimal hand shifting, but it's hard to do.

Jethro would say "That ain't no part of nuthin'" - oh wait, that's the other mandolin guy http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

Second finger at that point does it for me, too. I know I'm having a great mandolin day if I can get through the head with some bounce in my playing. Jethro made it look and sound easy,of course. I'm sure he got a big kick just thinking about us poor pickers as we try and thread our way through this tune.

Thanks, Archie. It's one thing to get through A and B with no flubs, but to improvise with conviction over those changes is another thing entirely. Ah, Jethro, you gotta love him...
