Howdy Folks,

I've been playing fiddle for several years and recently became addicted to mandolin. I've included pics of my Bean Blossom A style with the new tail piece I installed. It's a AXL PM196 Cast Tailpiece that I ordered from the http://www.themandolinstore.com.

I was getting a whining sound from the original tailpiece and the new one eliminated that. I think the overall tone is better and more bell like. Happy Trails!

Amazing what a simple piece of hardware can do for an instrument. What's next? Waverly's? ;)

Nah, maybe a solid wood bridge. The instrument is ok, but lipstick don't make a pig any prettier. Just trying to get the best out of it with small changes.
