Andrew has started the walnut GOM. Here are some pictures he sent me. In the letter he stated that he will be starting to carve the top and back soon and will get more pictures to me.

Wanted to show you how Andrew adapted his art deco headstock for my GOM that he is making. Way to go Andrew.

Steve, Funny, I did not notice the backround. I was too enamered by what Andrew came up with. While the idea was mine, his execution went far beyond my idea.

Cant wait to see the finished product, looks great!

Andrew built a really cool GOM with a single cutaway the looked like a small Gibson ES-175 that has always stuck in my mind.

Man that walnut is stunning. I'd sure love to test drive one of Andrews GOMs... maybe ABC it with a Fletcher Brock and an Old Wave. Someone needs to host a GOM gathering.

Just got word from Andrew that he has it strung up, is doing the final setup and will take final pictures (which I will post when I get them). It should be shipped Wednesday. I'm not too excited. Holding my breath. Is it Wednesday yet? No, then it will take at least three days to get here. What do I do if it arrives when I am at work? Then I will have to wait longer. Yep, being cold I will have to wait 24 hours, oh my. Can I do it? I guess the hamster is running on its wheel full speed.

Niiice! Why don't you overnight it? ...yes, probably a few hundred more but a small price to pay in the scheme of things. If it ships Wednesday .. god knows where it ends up over the weekend. Less handling is always better, imo. Enjoy your new ride!

Tony,
Your excitement is infectious, like a kid on Christmas eve. Better fill the time by playing your other instruments. They may feel neglected when the new baby arrives.

Larry that picture you posted, is much like how mine will look. Due to the Walnut, a bit less yellow in the top finish, but man that picture just makes me want to play it. Bet you love it.
