Here are a few pics of one of the first F4jr's hot off the bench in OZ! I'm sure it promises to be stellar in tone and quality but unfortunately, I'm not in the market for one just yet. Wanted to share with you in the event that someone is. I was told that expected delivery is next month. Beautiful! :disbelief:

I love how the binding only goes so far around the scroll, and to the 12th fret on the other side. Beautiful model!

I love the Jr. treatment on the F style. Maybe if I sell off 40 acres or so.....

As I recall my 5C had more complex b/w/b binding. And from the photo this looks like wood (ebony) binding. Anyone know the price for these? Not that I have 40 acres to sell off........

same tort guard and cam clamp setup as your X-5C, but thats where similarities end - Jr. appointments all around - don't think top binding is ebony - think .. 'budget beater'! :grin:Christie Carter at Gruhn has pricing and all specs on it. Supposed to be here sometime in August. 'Gawk-geous' is a good way to describe it. can't wait to see it finished myself, Jill. This thing has Don's blood type, all over it ..
