I am using a Horner A5, an Eastman fiddle, and a couple of Martin guitars. The mic is an Audio-Technica AT2020 USB using Garageband.

Did you play all the instruments? Very nice. I play that song often and it never comes out like that.
I've heard that there are somewhere between 20 and 50 verses to that song. Every once in a while I hear a new verse.

I just make a track for each instrument and each part and then work on the mix and panning to try to balance out the instruments.
