String Question

I have been using D'Addario EXP medium strings on my mandolin and they work farily well and sound great but they don't seem to last very long. I tend to break them fairly often and I find myself having to replace them more often than I like. So I was wondering if anyone has any other type of string suggestions that I could possibly try that might work better. Thanks.

mceh12, where are they breaking? It could be the bridge or the nut has a burr on it causing any string to break. If it is the same string breaking every time, chances are this is the problem, if not, you might try D'Addario J-74's or J-75's.
