This is one of my favourite instruments to play. I have always preferred the sound of nylon strings. Now if only I could get one of these with double nylon courses of strings! Anyway...
4 single nylon strings tuned C G D A.
Baritone ukulele scale length (19 inches)
The f-holes and shape of the instrument make it sound more mandola-ish. Hard to describe.

Sadly I'm not the builder! The wood is, as far as I'm aware, Sapele for the whole body, and the fretboard is Rosewood.

Forgot to mention, I have strung it with Aquila Nylgut strings, so it really sings!
