Darrell, really awesome work! I love the scroll; it is perfect and I like how you have the figure in your truss rod cover matching the peghead. Really nice!!

Wow, that is really nice. The back is absolutely amazing - the flame truly looks 'alive'. Very cool!!!

thanks skip, i've tried to match the grain on all of my builds but it does require the next slice of veneer.but thats fine by me. pcs of no. 5 coming soon. DT ps- the pickguard is purpleheart died black

thank you eric, that is some of spruce's bigleaf maple. i used it on two mandolins and both look like they are on fire. nice wood. DT
