First I would like to thank all of you who replied and offered good suggestions to my "not progressing" thread. Since then I have sold all my mandolins and have decided to go the oval hole route for old time and maybe a foray into Celtic. I have on the way an Eastman 604 from Gianna Violins. As a tangent, I must say that Steve Perry was a pleasure to deal with and gave me a great deal too.
Once it arrives, I will begin to take lessons again and also attend the old time jam on some Tuesdays in Ballard.
