Yes, Larson is a lute-maker who came over from the dark side. :) Actually he is quite familiar to the denizens of the Classical area of this forum. He is one of the few makers in North America who actually makes quality bowlbacks. Richard Walz, an American classical player who lives in France, has been working with him for a number of years to make exactly the instrument he likes to play. Daniel also makes real gut strings for various instruments under the name Gamut Strings.
