I have been racking my brain trying to remember a western movie ( 80's, early 90's? ) that had a scene where a groupe of cowboys are drinking in a saloon and a piano player and a mandolin player are playing a tune not to cowboy's liking. One cowboy gets up takes out his pistol, puts it up to the left hand of the mandolinist and says something like " those sure are some pretty fingers you got there, it would be a shame to have them blown off ". I am thinking it might have something like The Young Rider's but cant be sure.
Any body?

are you sure it's not Young Guns with Emilio Estevez and Keifer Sutherland?

Jim, after looking at some youtube videos of ' Young Guns ', I think that might be it. Thanks.

I believe the player may have been Anthony Marinelli (musician, and well documented music score/soundtrack producer.)

An aside...The movie was entertaining, but in the true Hollyweird tradition, their facts were askew.

I think one of the gang wanted to hear, "I am a good Old Rebel."
