Hi All,

Here is the first installment of local St Patrick's related Celtic
music/dance events. If you know of any other traditional Celtic
music/dance related events in the CU area please let me know. These
are not Piper's Hut events.

March 12, Friday:
Jerome Colburn will be providing a selection of jigs,
reels, airs, and such at the St. Matthew Parish fish fry,
St. Matthew's Parish Center, Lincolnshire and Mayfair,
Champaign, IL, on Friday, March 12, 2010, 5-7 pm. No cover
charge, but the public are encouraged to purchase their choice
of the excellent meatless offerings.

The regular Bentley's Irish session is tonight from 7-10pm. Bentley's
is on North Neil at Washington.

Other local music of interest... Folk Singer, Claudia Schmidt will be
giving a workshop for singers at the IMC in downtown Urbana this
Saturday 2-4pm. The workshop cost is $20. Workshop + concert $25.
There are a limited number of slots left as of 2:30pm, Wednesday, Feb
