Nearly every mandolin player I know also plays at least one other instrument. Thought it might be fun to see some of the other instruments instruments in everyones' collections.

I "play" one of these, but I don't know the name of it in English. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif (French name is Guimbarde)

That is what is commonly known as a Jew's Harp, or sometimes because of fear of creating offense, a juiceharp. Personally I see no offense.

I love telling everyone I have a '57 Martin. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

I think this is a bit more than I'd like the board being used for so I'm closing this topic. Plus it's already attracting posts of non-mandolin images that appear to be nothing more than jokes which encourages more of the same. Long-term our focus remains mandolins. Thanks.
