Since it is electrified in the manner Sam does his own, then it must be his own new Sam Bush

every time i have seen sam bush he has had that mandolin sitting on that stand but never played it. i would imagine it has more to do with him showing that not only he plays a gibson, but gibson has a sam bush model.

PJLAMA, nice one, thats tom ellis. I recognize that headstock, I'm not sure if he built it or not.

Sam still has a 20-year old road case from the Nash Ramblers. Just barely broken in!

I happened to have his site open to the gallery and went fishing around and found it. I've been drooling over his stuff since I've been Ellis free for a couple years but that's gonna change!

Here's another -

He played it while Hoss was in the shop and I've seen him leave Hoss home on a fly date out here in the wild west.

... guesses on the tie-dyed pancake master?

Based on nothing other than that the headstock looks vaguely "Brazilian", whatever that means (even if it's not a 10-string), and that I did see some pretty zebrawood (?) in Brazil last summer, I'll throw out:

??? Hamilton de Holanda ???
