A week or so back I saw one brief thread on the H4 with the mutilated neck that sold on ebay a couple of days ago, but no mention lately. I would assume there was member interest in it, and that its repair would be a project likely undertaken by someone who posts here, but have seen nothing. Am I not looking in the right place, or did everyone remain silent in hopes that no one would notice it and bid?

It sold for a lot of money($3360) considering the condition and work that needed done. I would have liked to get my hands on it as would have many others but not at that price. You would have a considerable amount of time and expence into it and maybe not to much of the original left in it. People will spend unreasonable amounts of money on a hobby. Lionel Trains,golf clubs,boats, broken instruments.....
