It's finally happening, The Mosier Mandolin Orchestra will have it's first meeting this Sunday, and although there is quite a list of "standards" to play, I thought I"d poll everyone for favorites tunes & experiences.
We will have a proficient music director, arranger, and a wide spectrum of player's abilities.
All creative thoughts,ideas,suggestions welcome!

Paul,

This is great! Finally something to put Mosier on the map. It's always being overshadowed by The Dalles ;)

All kidding aside, I think this is fantastic. Keep this thing rolling. I'll retire from the Navy in five years and intend on coming back home to The Gorge (I may actually get good by then). When I left 15 years ago I had no idea what a mandolin was, now Mosier has an orchestra. WOW!

Keep at it!

Paul, my local mandolin pal Jeff Dearinger has been arranging for mandolin orchestras for over 25 years and sells some of them, reasonably priced. A link (http://www.mandolincafe.com/scores.html) in case you're interested. Have fun with this group.
