I got the tabledit file for this tune, and am working on learning it. #I have two requests. #I can't seem to find any recordings of this. #Does anyone know where this is recorded? I'm pretty sure this is a Grisman tune (and the title of a book).

Also, the tabledit files list a Bbdim7 chord.
What the heck is that? #I've been playing the Bbdim chord instead. #Does this chord actually exist?

Good question, not sure where this has been recorded. Bbdim7 = 1 b3 b5 6 (actually a bb7), so Bb Db Fb(or E) G. On the fretboard, it would be 3243. Good chord.

Grisman wrote that tune for a TV special and then tabbed it out for his FRETS column, but I don't recall that I ever saw it recorded anywhere.

Ooops. A Google search shows me it was recorded on Dawg '90, which I am sadly lacking.

Thanks for the responses. How is the dimished 7th different from the diminished? Is it just nomenclature?

You can find that tune at Dawg Net (http://www.acousticdisc.com/dgq_splash.html)
