Mike Marshall has announced he will be accepting a limited number of students starting February, 2010 at his studio on Oakland, California. He will also be making Skype lessons available for those who wish to study with him over via the internet.

Very highly unlikely. His School of Mandolin is extremely popular, one of the most popular of all of the ArtistWorks Schools and is really taking up much of his time these days. I had an extensive conversation with him by phone a few days ago so sort of up on what he's up to. I'd say if you're wanting to take lessons from him, that's the place to be. I just went through three of Mike's advanced lessons today on ArtistWorks. Good stuff, highly recommended! Put in some time and there are a lot of things to be learned, Mike is a great teacher. Best part is you can view the lessons over & over, at your own pace......you can even set sections of the video to loop, so you can focus on a particular part of the lesson.
