Anyone know of any decent 2010 mandolin calendars? Seems like there should be lots. Let me know.:mandosmiley:

It says 2009 on the first page, but if you look at each month, it is 2010.

I would make my own at Snapfish.com. Their service is good as is their quality. You can put photos into specific dates too in addtion to just the main month photo (you can also use several photos in the main month section).

Just don't include those teeth Jamie!

The teeth are integral to my calendar satisfaction. However, I wouldn't be selling my mandolin calendar to anyone. Snapfish's price is ~$20 for an 8.5 x 11" 12 month calendar with essentially unlimited photos in it. NFI on my part. I've made two different calendars this year as gifts to grandparents and my wife (featuring my kids more than my mandolins). Their turnaround time is about 7 days from completing the order to recieving the calendar.

Thanks for finding that, though it looks a little slapdash. Of course, if you want to look at twelve photos of someone else's mandolin, the same one each month, and not even a Gibson, :) rather than a variety of nice mandolins, go right ahead. I'm going to keep looking. :whistling:

I don't have anything to do with the calendar (and NFI), but it is my mandolin featured in the photos. No, not a Gibson, but I wouldn't trade it for one either (It's a Michael Terris, and fits me just fine).

They are very artistic photos.

Here are some pics from the photo session:

I did this last year for a buddy using Shutterfly. I did a tenor guitar calendar with different instruments and groups each month. It came out pretty good.

It makes for a nice personal present.

apple has a service that allows you to construct a calender of your own - you supply the photos, important dates, etc. and they print them. my wife had some family calenders printed which we gave out as stocking fillers at xmas last year - apple did a beautiful job.

Maybe we should get together and pool our cool shots to come up with a Mandolin Cafe calendar. Scott?

Didn't mean to imply it isn't a nice-looking mandolin - it is - I just like to see a little variety in a calendar. I wouldn't want to look at the same mandolin for a year, even #73987. For instance, how nice would a bowlback look sitting next to a cornucopia of harvest fruits and vegetables on a wooden table for the November (Thanksgiving) photo? That kind of stuff.

I totally agree...I like variety in a calendar too.
