Without getting my head bitten off, and going the lazy route. When and what Gibsons had the 7/8 inch machines.

Better even yet, why did 29/32 become the norm?

OOPS, I gave you a bit of wrong info on your other thread.
The teens spacing was actually 15/16 not 7/8 as I stated.
Sorry about that.
I think the spacing changed in about 1921 from 15/16 to 29/32 (modern spacing).
I used to know all of this stuff cold but I am a bit rusty it seems.
For sure the "teens" were all 15/16.
Someone help me out here!!! I am sinking!

Hi Gail, sheesh, I am having some of those "brain-freeze" moments. (or days,, or weeks or something).
I used to be able to just rattle this stuff off.
Maybe it"s a sign that I am getting a life?
Nah, I'll be alright and back to mando-nerd right after I take a couple of weeks off for Christmas.
Gail have you heard anything about those Stewmac tuners that are suposed to be coming out?
I think the scuttlebutt was that they are going to be 15/16 spacing and available early in 2010?
Or,,, was that just another dream I had?

It might have been a dream as well but I'm waiting for them along with everyone else.:)
