Hopefully, I'll retire from US Navy one day and get to enjoy things like this on a regular basis. Have fun all.

If they'd only put a Submarine Base on the Ohio River somewhere between Cincinnati and Lousiville! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

for those of you not there you missed a good time...tho a small crowd...very appreciative none the less. Blueridge put on a great show...Alan was "on it"....he told me that Gibson was making him a varnished version of his signature model. He played his Loar the whole night. He had very kind words for my band...I really enjoyed myself....I may have some pics to share...have to see if they came out. Nice to see you there Mike...Oh...AlanN...AlanB told me to tell you "Hey"....said you were a nice guy....I seconded the motion... http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Scotti,
Did you end up getting you a banjo picker for that gig? Hopefully it went well for ya. Sharing the stage with Mr. Bibey can't be all bad! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Is the show that is put on by Ron Murphy? I sent him a press kit earlier this year, about working us in down there at some point. I talked to him on the phone and he sounded like he would try and fit us in but I haven't heard anything back from him. Would you mind joggin his memory for us And maybe I'll give him a call too...looks like fun!
