I would like information about my 1917 REX mandolin.Or tips on where to gather information about it.Thank you!

Hi Kenneth and Welcome to the Mandolin Café. Could you post a photo or two to help us with your search.

EDIT: I did a quick Google search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=rex+mandolin&aq=f&oq=&aqi=g10) and it looks like these are budget instruments branded to Gretsch as early as 1902 (source Mugwumps.com (http://www.mugwumps.com/AmerInstMkr.html#R.)). From my search they don't seem to be highly valuable but seeing yours to compare it with those found in the google search may help you understand it's value.
