I finally got around to completing my tenor banjo restoration. It's a 1920's something, unknown maker, at least not information on the maker is around. I started with a very roughly sanded rim and neck and no hardware, except the hoop and tone ring.

I would vote that your pot and neck started life as a Slingerland... has that feel to it. Good work, by the way! Spruced up indeed!

Beautiful banjo. I like your installation of a tiger maple arm-rest; it really creates a pretty contrast with the dark woods in the rest of the instrument.
