Mandy and the Bandits came together to bring to life songs written by vocalist/composer Amanda Crumley, and what life they have found! Comprised of Chicago musicians with a broad spectrum of musical backgrounds, the Bandits' sound is a highly-conductive amalgam of styles. A whole lot of bluegrass, inspired by artists such as Allison Krauss and Dolly Parton, mixed with bit o' folk and a dash of jazz is what you'll taste at one of their shows. Powerful three-voice harmonies backed by two guitars, mandolin, slide, fiddle and a driving rhythm section, the Bandits create an electric atmosphere.
