I just bought a new Collings mando and my peg winder bangs on the adjacent peg when attempting to wind. Anyone have any suggestions on a peg winder that fits a Collings?
Thanks

Bill

Doesn't Collings make a special winder for $500 bucks? Dang, you would think they would be all over it.

I second the Mando-Crank suggestion. Very nice little winder ... not quite a collings but darn close.

I make them, call them Clydewinders, for anything that needs winding from mandolins to basses. I would post a picture, but I can't figure out how to make my files the right size, they keep getting rejected. I've sold 150 of them in the past year, guaranteed for life, and haven't gotten one back yet. Functional art is what my wife calls them, very pretty and they work, just like me. I can email a picture if you are interested.
