its pretty good with everyone having thier own way to describe tone I wont even try. it has the fine fret wire, I prefer the larger frets. It has the same tailpiece as yours but I had his name put on it other than that it is the same as yours except for the color... I think he will like it he is playing a Steffy right now that is really nice, we will see how they compare today.

This is another great looking mandolin.
I have noticed a few other builders using
simular angles on the fretboard. Nice.
I am a newbie builder and hope one of mine
will look as good as the ones you build.
