Does anyone out there know the chord progression for this tune? I would be delighted if there was even a tab. I love Norman Blake's rhythm on this tune. Any help will be much appreciated.

well, it's a D tune...

Holds on the D for the verse, then G (way up on the hill where they) D (do the boogie) A (do-do the boogie) D (do-do the boogie), repeat thru the #(wonder what I'm doin' here)...as for the last part of the verse, not sure. Starts on G, bass line ascends by half-steps to the D. A chorded ascent doen't really fit in there, and I can't really hear what the mando is doing for that part...

Hope this helps.

Yep, sure does help. I was playing open D and then to a quick A (played on the G and D strings, the other two open) but got stuck there. I'll keep working on it. thanks.
