Hi all...I thought that some might be interested in seeing some in progress pictures of my soon-to-be Yellowstone, courtesy of Paula and John from Weber. #It's going to be a koa Yellowstone, with finish and hardware yet to be determined (probably along the lines of their faded leather burst, but different, with gold). # I ordered the instrument through Greg Boyd about a month ago, and had actually managed to put it out of my mind...until the pictures arrived on Friday. Here are a few of them, starting with the back.

Nice!

Notice the MandolinCafe sticker above the neck-fitting table?

Very nice! I've been struggling with a couple lower end mandos for a while now, and have been thinking more and more of either upgrading to a nicer Gibson, (I have an A9 now)or a Weber. (I have a Sage now and love it). Good luck with your new mando it looks great!

I like the back because I am a big Koa fan! And it is very interesting to see the insides of the mandolin.
