This song has helped me "get up the neck". I have always had trouble playing in other than first position. I found this song in the co-mando pile and I recommend it for helping dexterity up the neck. Super hard to play fast though. Two hours yesterday and two today and I can play the first 30 measures or so without looking. And my fingers kinda hurt. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Kodiak's done that for me... it's all over the place. Though happily, it's a slower song. I'd love to play WMD someday, though... awesome piece.

Can you tell me where to get the tab for Kodiak?
Thanks, Rob.:)

Sorry... I can't. *mission impossible music* hahaha

Reason is I don't know where it would be... I am learning it by ear and transcribing it into notation. Which is in my notebook, scrawled in pencil. LOL

It's been an education in crosspicking, moving in dfferent positions and ear training, I'll tell ya that!!! I figure by the time I get through it I might have enough skill to play it at something approaching full speed (meaning... it's gonna be a while hahaha)
