I gigged last night at a Farmer's Market with the Mando(la)bird and the 8 string mandocaster. Kid asks me "Hey Mister, how much did that little guitar cost?" Apparently he figured that since it was smaller it would be cheaper than a "real" guitar. ;)

Lots of folks asking me about the Fender especially.
"What is that?" (An electric mandolin.)
"Is it really a mandolin?" (Yes, an electric one.)
"I've never seen one of those." (They're pretty rare, most people haven't seen one before.)
"Did you dress to match it?" (Um, no. That was a happy accident.)
