I was listening to the Sam Bush concert at woodsongs.com and heard this killer resophonic slide mando tune. I couldn't make out the name, though: Is it "Watson Almond" or "What's An Almond" or "Watson Allman"? Anyways, it's a killer song.

Dave,
"Watson Allman" is on Sam's "Glamour and Grits" Album http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Cool. I'll have to check that one out. (BTW, I think "What's an Almond?" would be a pretty cool name for a slide mando song. Since {I've read} the name "mandolin" comes from the italian word for "Almond"...and slide mandolin is redefining the boundaries of mandolin. It makes sense to me, anyways.)
