If anyone lives in the Cecil County, Maryland area, Sunfest in Rising Sun is a popular event that locals know well and music is always a staple.
In the parking lot of the old Western Auto during business hours, Len from West Grove, Pennsylvania, sings and plays a tune with Del Lord and the Country Ramblers on Saturday morning.
Len, who isn't in it for the money, enjoys the music and taking requests from listeners.
"My #1 or 2 requested song is, "White Oak on the Hill", written by Ralph Stanley," he said.
The Ramblers wrote their own verse to go with the song.
"A lot of places I go, people ask for it," he says. "It's one of my favorite Ralph Stanley songs."
