I have three guit boxes named, Epi (too obvious), Genie and Stella. I've read a few of you pickers refer to your mando by name.
I'd like to take a survey:

2.)Anyone know the plural of Mando?

I seriously believe that a mando with a name, is a loved and cared for mandolin. I myself named mine "Odiseous". and yes, i do call him by name!http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

there was a fairly recent thread on this topic with pages of responses. seems lots of us do name our instruments. mine's reckless, hence the username. hit the search button at the top right of this page, Tommy, and it should lead you to the thread.
