Today I was playing and it's probably a really simple thing to most if not all of you but I think I finally got the proper angled pick sound! I read it about here and I applied it but until today it didn't really seem to make that much of a difference. I don't even really know if I just heard it "right" today or simply adjusted some micrometer amount to the left or up or under sideways down but it removed that high overtone or jangly brash sound that I tended to have. I used to think it was my instrument and there was nothing to be done about it. Just doing that reminded me how much knowledge is here from the FFcP to the inestimable resource of being able to ask mando questions that nobody else would know let alone care about! I've learned a lot from this place so thanks Scott as well as all the mods and everybody that shares their knowledge. :)
