David Keenan -- as mandolin teacher - any experiences/thoughts?

Anyone here taken BlueGrass lesson(s) from David Keenan? David plays many instruments (banjo, reso guitar, even fiddle and of course mandolin) with many groups in the Pac NW (e.g. Downtown Mtn Boys, Burly Roughnecks, Mighty Squirrel). I'm thinking of signing up for a week of workshops with him, and so I wondering what to expect. Please share any first-hand student experiences with this fine player.

I took a weeks worth of lessons from David at Sorrento a couple of years ago. He is a good instructor.
