I have just finished my last bottle of the old Martin guitar polish (in the blue and white bottle). I know this thread has come up before, but I can't find/remember any of the suggestions. Are there any adequate replacements out there? The new Martin stuff is like rubbing toothpaste on my mandolin...

If you want just a spray on polish try the Lizard Spit. That is some great stuff! I second the Meguiar's #7 but it takes the cloth technique. The Lizard Spit is faster for simple cleaning.

I'll second the endorsement of the Virtuoso products. They're the best, made for instruments and safe for all finishes.
