I've just started a new 'miscellaneous' social group called 'The Song-A-Week Social Group'. You can get there by clicking here (http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/group.php?groupid=67)!
This group came to be out of a discussion on one of the regular message boards. Every week everyone posts a video or sound clip of them playing one song chosen by the group. This will be a great way to learn new songs, show off skills, and see others at work. Our plan is to incorporate different genres & skill levels.
Chris Travers was the cafe member who suggested we start this social group, and he's picked the first tune, and Irish slide called The Road to Lisdoonvarna.
