Heard a great cover of a song by the "Two High String Band"
here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7icNoamxC5c)

and I'm trying to locate some info about the song. I tried the sites that usually provide me with lyrics, author, tab (Bluegrass lyrics, Country lyrics, Barb Diederich's lyrics index) but I can't find this song anywhere. A couple of lines of the song are:

I'm so homesick I'm going crazy, and I don't know what to do
Can't sleep at night can't eat a bite homesick too homesick to eat
Too ashamed to cry too sick to die homesick to be with you

Can someone provide me with the name, who wrote it and who first recorded it?
Thanks
Yossi

Homesick, written by Whisperin' Bill Anderson. He's an artist and a songwriter, I don't know who recorded it first.

Yup it was written by Whisperin' Bill and a lot of people have done it over the years (Ferlin Husky, Babby Bare, Norma Jean etc.) but there's never been anyone before or since do it as good as the King of Bluegrass Mr. Jimmy Martin. Now he knew how to get it up there in a key where I could sing some tenor to it! ;)

You can hear him do a great live version on the Don't Cry To Me album.
