Yep! Quilted is my favourite of all the types of maple. Some of it looks almost three-dimensional.

My favorite is F5GWiz's Poe... but I'll let him post it when he gets around to it! (You can see it here (http://www.poestrings.com/Mandolins/005_files/%23005-5.jpg).)

Hey David,

Can you show and say a bit more about that mandolin design? Looks a bit like the old Harmony/Supertone 'soft shouldered' two point design.

Brad, A lot of the early Stellings were this shape. I think all of those were built by Kim Breedlove if I'm not mistaken. I think once Kim started making the S5's this model was dropped. May have been some overlap. Its my first with this design other than retopping a Stelling once.
Also my first orange mandolin.
I'll get in touch with the owner (if he doesn't see this) and see if he wants to add some pictures.
Most of the other pictures I have didn't come out well.

Here's my favorite which follows the quilting theme into the inlays. "Quilting" is currently in residence at Mandolin Brothers.

Wow, you just joined this month and my mandolin is already your favorite in the world. I'm flattered!! What part of the world do you live in?

East coast. Your mandolin has been my favorite for about a year. It has some competition from that Birds eye Sumi in the Birds eye thread.
