I coaxed Dan Beimborn into changing his RSS/News feed for the Mandolin Archive a few days ago so that an image is pulled in for display here when a new instruments is added to his database. I've developed the opinion that a lot of our users don't understand this area of the forum so they just don't look at it, which is OK, but if you're really interested in vintage instruments, this is pretty hard to beat, and there are some remarkable instruments getting added almost daily.
