I just read the article about the new Mandolin Cafe in Tacoma

Seems a little more than coincidence on the name and general flavor of the place. I doubt that there is much to be done about it but it does leave a bad taste in my mouth. At least they won't be able to have the WWW address. Scott any interest (or chance) in protecting your site name? I guess I should try to take the high road and not worry about it but with all the hard work you have put in this site it is very irritating!

I've actually tried to contact the owner. Called them yesterday but he and his wife weren't there. Had a nice chat with someone working there. Sent them some case stickers and kitchen magnets about a week ago. Now if I can just talk them into using my chord mugs to serve coffee, that'd be cool. A single coffee shop in Tacoma is no danger to anyone. Now, if they start to do the Starbucks thing (franchising) then you might get a reaction out of me, but that's highly unlikely.
