Never seen a cylinderback without the 2 points... Hmm. Any more info on these models, anyone?

From the photos (especially the side view), it doesn't look to me like a cylinderback at all, but instead a flatback design, despite what the seller says in response to the first question posted.

Looks like a curve to me but then the photo is bad --maybe that is why the photo is bad.

Update: The seller has posted additional photos making it clear that it IS a cylinderback.

This is the 3rd one of these that I have seen on ebay over the years.
Unfortunately they have all been in pretty rough shape.
This one is in the best shape of any that I have seen.
It is kinda rough too though.

Is that a split in the bottom next to the tailpiece? There is a clearer pic of the other side of the tailpiece, but not that side... He doesn't describe the neck in the detail I'd like to see, bowing, frets, action, intonation, playing in tune up the neck etc. Maybe I'll ask him.... but then I might WANT it....and I already have a 2-point Vega 205 Cylinderback 10-string mandolin/mandola... still....

Not a split, just the grain. In some of the pics that wood looks like rosewood.... Probably will stop shy of a grand...

Here is a 'pointless' cylinder back mandola I have in my files.

Now that definitely looks like rosewood b&s...
