Ok so I know this has probably been posted a dozen times but it floors me every time and I'm sure there are some forum newbies that haven't yet. So enjoy!

She also plays the mandolin. Came 2nd with it at a recent competion. Would be something if she crosses over and makes it her first instrument. We are thrilled that she and her mom moved to Austin.

Hello guys. I have played with Curtis Jones for about the last 20 years in several different bands. He moved in to my neighborhood in 1980. He had already been playing guitar for about 2 years at that time. His father (wonderful banjo player) Curtis Jones Sr. started me on mandolin in 83'. I'm almost positive this video is untouched as far as it being spead up. I can tell you I have played Sweet Ga Brown w/ Curtis many times at that speed. He is a speed demon for sure! You just have to hang on for dear life! As for the mando player with him, It's Jeff Midkiff the "original" mandolin player for the Lonesome River Band. Alot of people who was at SPGBMA last week end got to meet Curtis. He is currently endorsed by Bob Thompson Guitars and was over at Bob's table all weekend playing them. Kenny Smith (Kenny & Amanda Smith Band) introduced Curtis to the blue chip pick's people and I believe he left with 3 (endorsed I believe).
