what everybody think of the mandobird-8 string or 4 or do you have some knowledge on others?:mandosmiley:

You will get more notice if you post in the electric forum, but here's my take...

I have one myself. It's the cheapest brand name electric you can get. I bought mine knowing I was going to take $50 and replace the pickup and pots with better ones right away. I did intonate the bridge myself, but that's an easy adjustment with screws. On mine the nut was not too bad, I left it alone for now.

The construction was good and solid, I found nothing badly done. If you are handy with solder and wire they are fine. If you want one you will not want to change, you will need to budget about $500.
