Ive been trying to find out the name of a mandolin track for AGES! I don't really know how best to describe it, but it is used on T.V shows as backing music all the time (most recently on 'Dancing on ice' during Ellery Hanley's training montage clip on week 3).
Annoyingly the only youtube clip of this has since been removed, so i can't post any link. I did try 'shazaming' the track off the T.V at the time but with the narration over the top it didn't work.
A stab in the dark I know, but if anyone can suggest any mandolin tracks that are commonly used as backing tracks on T.V. The one i'm after has been used on loads of history shows, and the odd documentary. It is a mellow, haunting track, quite contemporary in style.
