Gerry is an old friend of mine, and he often played at Second Street Brewery in Santa Fe (I used to work there). I took fiddle lessons from him, briefly -- but his biggest contribution to me was getting me hooked up with several people in Galway :)
He's a genuinely fantastic human being, and a damned fine musician.
