So I'm thinkin of buying this 4 string coustom made banjo tuned and scaled like a banjo. It has redone Ludwig banjo neck sized to fit a mando scale and a sweet metal resonator on the back. It plays great, is insanely loud and intonates great.

What would yall think would be a fair price?

??? what no pictures ?? Id say raise from hundred bucks till they stop laughing at the offer .

Good Banjo Pots are valuable for conversions, usually go from Tenor banjos to 5 strings,
rarely with something with such a narrow niche as a Melody Banjo.

Bernunzio's shop would have a clue as they sell stuff like that..

that have geared tuners? like 4:1 planetary at a minimum.

steel short strings with friction pegs are a PIA to tune.

I like right angle tuners better with like 14~16 : 1 gears
