My computer has been down for four months , so i'm back ! The Rose mandolin is truly a great mando , and considering the low price tag , a good bang, for the buck. The tone reminds me of a Collings mando I played - the notes are real crisp and clear, and the workmanship is top notch. There's some pics posted on the " Post a Pic " thread a little time back. I know Darby has built one for a well known player and is working on another for a guy in " Lonesome River band " ( I think )
