Somewhere in the video, you can see bluegrass as a music style. :))

The other classic quote is, "It's by Microsoft so it's easy to use."

Wonder if you can play your mandolin into it instead of singing to compose instrumentals? :disbelief:

Here's a rocker taking it for a spin. Don't drink anything near your keyboard when you listen to it.

My ears are bleeding!

That is just wrong, in so many ways. :disbelief:

I thought that was an awfully good impersonation.

And here I thought you were used to that stuff Bruce.

I thought the promo video was harder to sit through than the rocker track. At least I got a laugh out of the rocker track.

I am all for music technology, but I think these "high-tech player pianos" cross the line. This seems to be in same league as "Guitar Hero," although I will reserve judgement until I've seen some serious user reviews.

That promo video was so close to self-parody, that I kept wondering if it was intentional or not. Maybe this is some kind of new post-ironic trend in the advertising biz? Or else Microsoft is just clueless.

Okay, who will be the first to see what Songsmith does to a Bill Monroe vocal track? Can't wait to hear that...
